Yes it can be washed, up to 15 times for each mask, with regard to FDA standards, it does not filter out viruses. Remember, you are wearing a mask to protect others. they are wearing a mask to protect you.

No limitation on how many times it can be washed. There isn’t a nose wire, but it’s not intrusive or uncomfortable. You just press it in place and it helps with the glasses fogging issue. Yes, the mask covers my chin.
